Sonos Beam Ultra Compact Soundbar with Dolby Atmos – White

True 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos. AI-Enhanced Dialogue. Immersive Sound in a Compact Design.

Experience immersive home cinema sound without a large soundbar dominating your TV setup with the Sonos Beam Ultra in White. This compact premium soundbar combines a nine-driver acoustic architecture with dedicated upward-firing speakers to deliver true 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos sound, bringing greater height, width and depth to films, TV, games and music.

AI Speech Enhancement helps make dialogue clearer with four adjustable levels, while Trueplay™ tunes the sound to suit your room and Night Sound reduces the intensity of louder effects during quieter viewing. Connect to your TV through HDMI eARC or ARC, and stream your favourite music using WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 or Apple AirPlay 2.

Beam Ultra works as a complete standalone soundbar and can also be expanded with compatible Sonos Sub and surround speakers, giving you the flexibility to build a larger home cinema or multi-room Sonos system over time.

True 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos Sound

The Sonos Beam Ultra delivers true 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos sound from a compact nine-driver acoustic architecture. Five tweeters reproduce high and mid-range frequencies, including two dedicated upward-firing tweeters that support spatial audio and Dolby Atmos height effects, while four low-profile woofers deliver powerful bass.

The result is a more immersive soundstage with greater height, width and depth, helping compatible film, television and gaming soundtracks feel more spacious and engaging.

Supported home cinema formats include Stereo PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos via Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos via TrueHD, Multichannel PCM, Dolby Multichannel PCM and DTS Digital Surround. Certain higher-bandwidth formats require an HDMI eARC connection.

Clearer Dialogue with AI Speech Enhancement

AI Speech Enhancement detects human voices and improves dialogue clarity when speech competes with music, sound effects or background noise. Four adjustable levels are available through the Sonos app, allowing you to tailor speech enhancement to what you’re watching and your personal preference.

For evening viewing, Night Sound reduces the intensity of louder sounds while enhancing quieter details, helping you enjoy films and television at lower volumes.

Trueplay™ Sound Tuned to Your Room

Trueplay™ measures the acoustics of your listening space and fine-tunes the Beam Ultra’s EQ to suit the room. Bass, treble and loudness can also be adjusted through the Sonos app, giving you additional control over the sound.

Whether Beam Ultra is positioned beneath your television or mounted on the wall, its room-tuning capabilities help optimise performance for your particular setup.

TV, Music & Wireless Streaming

Connect Beam Ultra to a compatible television using HDMI eARC or ARC and control everyday volume using your compatible TV remote. The included HDMI cable provides a straightforward connection between the soundbar and your television.

When the TV is off, Beam Ultra becomes a powerful wireless music speaker with support for WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and Apple AirPlay 2. Dedicated upward-firing drivers also support Dolby Atmos Music for compatible spatial audio playback.

Sonos Voice Control, the Sonos app and capacitive touch controls provide additional ways to control playback, while a physical microphone switch on the rear can disconnect power to the microphones.

Expandable Sonos Home Cinema

Beam Ultra delivers Dolby Atmos sound as a standalone soundbar, so you don’t need to purchase rear speakers or a separate subwoofer to get started. If you want to expand your system later, compatible Sonos Sub products can add deeper bass while compatible Sonos speakers can be paired as surrounds for a more enveloping home cinema experience.

Beam Ultra can also be grouped with other compatible Sonos products around your home, allowing it to become part of a wider multi-room audio system.

Compact Design in White

Finished in matte White, Sonos Beam Ultra combines minimalist styling with a compact footprint that fits neatly beneath a wide range of televisions. At approximately 75cm wide, it delivers immersive home cinema sound without the visual presence of a much larger soundbar.

The clean White finish is particularly well suited to lighter entertainment furniture and contemporary interiors, helping the soundbar blend naturally into the room rather than dominating the TV setup.

Beam Ultra can be positioned on suitable furniture or wall-mounted using the dedicated Sonos Beam Ultra Wall Mount, which is available separately.
